Selection Criteria

Hunt Investment Group maintains the following general selection criteria for investments:

Strategy

Hunt Investment Group welcomes all strategies for consideration, except those funds specializing in oil and gas, domestic U.S. real estate and/or utilities.

Fund Size

Hunt Investment Group prefers that a fund has at least $100 million in assets under management, but it will consider smaller funds in special situations.

Liquidity

Hunt Investment Group prefers that a fund limit its lock-up to no more than 1 year, but it will consider longer lock-ups if consistent with the fund's strategy and objectives.

Geography

Hunt Investment Group is unconstrained geographically and is actively seeking to build a subset of its portfolio in areas outside the United States, Western Europe and Japan.

Investment Size

Initially, Hunt Investment Group will typically invest between $1 million and $5 million dollars in a fund. The expectation is that Hunt will ladder in additional capital as events warrant.

Fund of Funds

Hunt Investment Group will not invest in fund of funds.

First-Time Funds

Hunt Investment Group will consider investments in first-time funds so long as the managers possess an extensive track record of prior fund experience, have raised at least $25 million from third-party investors, are investing significant portions of their liquid net worth into the fund and that some enhanced economics are afforded to investors in the fund.
